Once we have arrived at Liesjärvi National Park, the group will begin their walk through the forest on Liesjärvi's winter trails. Your guide will show you the fine details of the forest and wildlife which inhabit Finland. After 2-hour easygoing walk, we will arrive at a beautiful wilderness hut which will be heated by our campfire. While your guide starts the fire and begins to prepare a traditional Finnish-style lunch, there will be plenty of time to take photos, explore, throw snowballs, converse, and enjoy the peace of Finland’s Taiga forest. After lunch, we will continue to explore the beauty of Liesjärvi under the towering snow-covered spruces. Walking for about one hour, the group will make their way back to the starting point, feeling refreshed experience in nature. -- Total walking distance is approx. 4,5-5km.
