Death Road By full suspension bike + Bus La Paz to Uyuni
DAY1 The mountain biking to Coroico starts at 7:30 a 8 hours
DAY1 The mountain biking to Coroico starts at 7:30 a.m. when we pick you up from your hotel. Then go by transport to La Cumbre, which is the starting point at 4.700 m. First, start with a 22 km downhill on asphalt road. At the police checkpoint (after 45 min.) all tourists must to pay 50 Bs for the entrance fee. This first section is for you to develop confidence and get used to the bike. Don’t worry, the safety van is always behind the group and we have water stops, photos and bike checks. Then hit “Death road” always in a compact group (safety first!) take some snack: chocolate, fruit and more. Finally, the end of the tour is in Yolosa, At this point we arrive so dirty, so the next stop is in a hotel with showers, a swimming pool and a buffet lunch as well. At 3:00 p.m. it´s time to go back to La Paz using the new road. Arrive to the city at 7:00 pm where you will be dropped off near to bus station. The bus departs at 9:00 pm to Uyuni. DAY 2 Arrive at Uyuni at 6:30 am, and have free time for walk around 8 hours
DAY 2 Arrive at Uyuni at 6:30 am, and have free time for walk around. Meeting time: 10:00 a.m. our office in Uyuni Departure time: 10:30 a.m. Then start your tour to Uyuni Salt Flats with a visit to Uyuni’s ‘Train Graveyard’ to see the first locomotives in Bolivia. Then visit the small settlement of Colchani (salt miners´ workshops), and see handicrafts made of salt and textile art made of llama and alpaca. Take photos along the vast white expanse of salt. Then, visit “Ojos de Agua Salada”, Hotel-Museum made of Salt and the famous Island "Flags of the world" Lunch will be served near “Isla Incahuasi” following, have time to hike to the top of the island to see giant cactus and rock formations made of petrified coral. Take time to organize your group for a fun perspective and proportion-distorted photos on the blinding white surface of the salt flats. Then, head to a spacious area for the unique experience of seeing a beautiful sunset over the salt flats with a glass of wine.

Day 2 8 hours
Day 2. Start off at 7:00 a.m. for breakfast. First stop, Galaxy Caves, and then go visit the Chiguana Desert on Uyuni salt flats South side, surrounded by volcanoes such as Ollagüe (5840m), which is still active and that can be seen from the lookout point. Then, continue along the rocky road that´s called “El Pasito Tuntun”. Later, visit: Cañapa, Hedionda and Chiarcota Lagoons in which flamingoes can be seen. Finally in the day, enter “Eduardo Avaroa National Reserve” (NATIONAL PARK ), visit the Desert of Siloli at 4550m (the highest and driest in the world), take a picture next to the ‘Rock tree’ (a lava rock formation). Before arriving to final destination, stop at the overlook point by the Red Lagoon to see more pink flamingos in their natural habitat and admire this intense red-colored lake. Stay the night at a hotel in Huayllajara.
Huayllajara / Geisers / White Lagoon / Green Lagoon / Lincancabur Volcano/ Rock Valley
Get off to an early start around 5:00 a 8 hours
Get off to an early start around 5:00 a.m. to visit the Sol de Mañana Geyser (5,000m) and walk next to fumaroles and steaming craters filled with boiling pots of mud at 150-200 Cº. and then have the opportunity to take a bath in an open-air Hot Springs at 35 Cº water. The next places to appreciate are the Dali Desert where Salvador Dali found his inspiration from boulders sprinkled in the middle of the desert, and then the Green Lagoon (toxic copper water at the foot of the big Licancabur volcano at 6000m, a few kilometers from the Bolivia-Chile border). Then head back to Uyuni passing by beautiful scenery along the way and eating a picnic lunch along the roadside. On the way, pass by Rock Valley, Alota settlement, and San Cristobal Village where a baroque church and colonial paintings can be seen. Return to Uyuni town.
