Tirana to Rozafa Castle
After we leave Tirana, we will head toward... 2 hours
After we leave Tirana, we will head toward the North of Albania with the Castle of Rozafa as the first stop. Build over the top of a hill, in an overlooking position over the City, the Castle has played a crucial role in Albanian History dating from the Antiquity and the Iliryan – Roman Wars. Its building history is also connected with one of the most fascinating legends of Albanian Epos.
After leaving the Castle we will head down to the city of Shkoder 2 hours
After leaving the Castle we will head down to the city of Shkoder. Famous for its typical architecture, sense of humor, and warm welcome, it has been one of the most important centers of Albania. Shkodra is also a city with a high religious tolerance. In a short distance, we can find a Catholic Church, Orthodox Church, and Muslim Mosque next to each other. Walking tour in Shkoder in some of the most interesting part of the city and famous “Pedonale”.

Diving to Theth In the afternoon, we will leave Shkoder behind to head more in the North, toward Theth where we will spend the overnight. After driving on a windy road we will reach Theth where we will be welcomed by a local family in their guesthouse.

After breakfast at the guesthouse, the beautiful Gurnas waterfall, located around a 45-min walk from the center of the village, is our last stop before leaving Theth behind. On the way back we will have the chance to visit also the Catholic Church of Theth and the Lock-in Tower. With more than 4 centuries of history, this building is the symbol of settling down the blood feuds in Albania.
