We visit Santa Fe de Antioquia, founded in 1541, was once the capital of Antioquia before Medellín assumed that role. This colonial town is a living museum, with cobblestone streets, whitewashed buildings adorned with wooden balconies, and a picturesque main square. Its rich history is palpable as you stroll through its well-preserved streets, lined with centuries-old churches, museums, and charming plazas. We walk around, have lunch, coffee, then we head back to the bridge where we left the car, and continue our journey.
