SPECTACULAR DRIVE TO SKARDU
Today we will travel KKH to Chilas
Today we will travel KKH to Chilas. Islamabad to Chilas, 461km. 9-10 Hours drive. We have the option to stop over in Chillas for the night or carry on driving to Skardu.
SIGHTSEEING DAY IN SKARDU & PREPARATION DAY
Today is a free day to explore Skardu town
Today is a free day to explore Skardu town. Skardu is the capital of Baltistan region. Visit the local Bazar, walk up to Kharpocho Fort and stay in your hotel to relax.
DRIVE TO ARANDU
Following day we will drive to Braldu village 7 hours
Following day we will drive to Braldu village. We will pass through Hot Sulphur Spring , famous for hot bath pools. The jeep track goes up the valley to the beautiful village of Doko, from here trek to Arandu the last village at the snout of the wonderful Chogo Lungma Glacier. Our walk will start through walnut groves and then goes up and down the hillside with view of cultivated fields and villages. Night stay in Arandu.
TREK TO BUKHUM
From Arandu to Bukhum is a beautiful walk, Bukhum is a summer settlement 6 hours
From Arandu to Bukhum is a beautiful walk, Bukhum is a summer settlement. You will follow the Basha River up to the snout of the Chogo Lungma Glacier. After crossing the glacier you will follow the northern lateral moraine to Bukhum.
TREK TO KHURUMAL 6 HOURS WALKING
After breakfast we will continue trekking from Bukhum to Khuruma 6 hours
After breakfast we will continue trekking from Bukhum to Khuruma. On the way we should be able to see the majestic pyramid of Spantik Mountain. We will pass through a summer settlement of Manchikera. We will camp at Khurmal, which is also a summer settlement for the locals.
TREK TO BOLOCHO
Today will be an easy day 4 hours
Today will be an easy day. Khurumal to BoluchoI is relatively short stage. Passing through the summer settlement of Gharincho and a small lake and enjoying the excellent views of Spantik and Laila Peaks we reach Bolucho, which is situated at the base of the Bolucho Glacier. We will camp on the green ground with lots of fresh Glacier water around.
TREK TO SPANTIK BASE CAMP
After Breakfast we will head toward the Base Camp of Spantik 4 hours
After Breakfast we will head toward the Base Camp of Spantik. Today will be relatively an easy and short walk which is perfect for acclimatisation.
CLIMBING & ACCLIMATISING PERIOD DAY 9 TO 24
Non guided climb will start from today onwards
Non guided climb will start from today onwards. During the climbing period our staff will be at base camp to help and assist you. Our professional Chef will make delicious and most nutritious food which we believe that, it plays a great role in climbing mountains.
TREK TO BOLOCHO 4- HOURS WALKING
After the climbing period we will follow the same Trekking Trip back to SKARDU 4 hours
