Arrive in the capital city of Windhoek 16 hours

Arrive in the capital city of Windhoek. We will meet you at the airport and transport you to The Arebbusch Travel Lodge, where you can check into your room and rest before dinner.

Saturday, Oct 17th: Windhoek to Neura’s Lodge and Winery near Sesriem, Namibia

After breakfast we will load the safari vehicles... 1 hour

After breakfast we will load the safari vehicles and drive approximately 5 hours to Neura’s Lodge and Winery near Sesriem. We will check into our rooms, enjoy a wine and cheese tasting.

Observe the cheetah feeding at Naankuse Wildlife Sanctuary, on the grounds at Nueras Lodge & Winery.

Sunday, Oct 18th: Namib-Naukluft National Park to Walvis Bay, Namibia

After an early departure from Nueras, we will... 4 hours

After an early departure from Nueras, we will start the day with a wildlife and scenic drive through the dunes in morning light, then take a short 4×4 drive and hike to the famous Sossusvlei dry ancient lakebed. After our morning adventure, we will drive to Walvis Bay.

Monday, Oct 19th: Walvis Bay and Sandwich Harbor Boat and 4x4 Tour

After breakfast, we will walk to the harbor... 8 hours

After breakfast, we will walk to the harbor for a 8:30am boat tour of the surrounding bay, followed by a gourmet lunch on the beach (this lunch is included with the tour fee) and an afternoon 4×4 jeep tour of Sandwich Harbor and the surrounding dunes.

Tuesday, Oct 20th: Walvis Bay to Swakopmund, Namibia

After breakfast, we will depart at 7:30 am... 4 hours

After breakfast, we will depart at 7:30 am for Swakopmund to take a guided “Little Five Wildlife Tour” via 4×4 jeeps in the surrounding Namib Desert. Our guide, Chantelle, is a very knowledgeable and passionate naturalist who will show us the often overlooked and misunderstood creatures and why it is important to be aware of the smaller life right below our feet. Expect to see skinks, lizards, geckos, tube spiders and possibly snakes.

Wednesday, Oct 21st: Swakopmund to Twyfelfontein, Namibia

After breakfast, we will depart at 9 am... 16 hours

After breakfast, we will depart at 9 am for Twyfelfontein, approximately 5 hours, making stops along the way for cultural visits and to browse local wares.

Thursday, Oct 22nd: Twyfelfontein to Mondjila Safari Camp near Etosha National Park, Namibia

After breakfast, we will take a one-hour guided... 1 hour

After breakfast, we will take a one-hour guided walking tour of the Twyfelfontein cultural site & petroglyphs.

After the guided tour of Twyfelfontein, we will... 1 hour

After the guided tour of Twyfelfontein, we will visit a living museum of the Damara people to observe their customs and traditions, as well as browse local wares.

Friday, Oct 23rd: Etosha National Park, Namibia

Depart Mondjila Safari Camp at 6:45 am for... 8 hours

Depart Mondjila Safari Camp at 6:45 am for a self-guided drive into Etosha National Park to view wildlife. Expect to see elephants, giraffes, plains zebras, several species of antelope, abundant birdlife and possibly lions, black rhinos, cheetahs, spotted hyenas, and leopards.

Saturday, Oct 24th: Onguma Private Game Reserve and Etosha National Park, Namibia

After breakfast, half of the group will go... 4 hours

After breakfast, half of the group will go for an early morning drive into Etosha National Park, while the other half will depart later in the morning to visit the famous Onkolo Hide - a ground level waterhole hide within the reserve - to view wildlife.

Sundowner 3 hours

Sundowner. Expect to see elephants, giraffes, plains zebras, several species of antelope, abundant birdlife and possibly black rhinos, lions, cheetahs, spotted hyenas, and leopards.

Sunday, Oct 25th: Onguma to Grootfontein, Namibia

The groups will switch morning activities to allow... 4 hours

The groups will switch morning activities to allow everybody the opportunity to experience the Onkolo Hide in Onguma as well as a morning game drive in the eastern side of Etosha National Park. Expect to see elephants, giraffes, plains zebras, several species of antelope, abundant birdlife and possibly black rhinos, lions, cheetahs, spotted hyenas, and leopards.

Monday, Oct 26th: Grootfontein to Popa Falls, Namibia

After breakfast, we will depart Roy's for Popa Falls, roughly 4 3 hours

After breakfast, we will depart Roy's for Popa Falls, roughly 4.5 hours away. We will check into our rooms, rest a bit and embark on an evening game drive along the Kavango River in the Manhango Core of Bwabwatea National Park. This region has large populations of elephants, hippos, crocodiles, cape buffalo, birdlife, and rare species of antelope.

Tuesday, Oct 27th: Popa Falls to Kasane, Botswana

Early morning departure for the Eastern Zambezi region... 3 hours

Early morning departure for the Eastern Zambezi region to visit Bwabwata National Park, where we will go on a game drive in hopes of seeing the rare and elusive African wild dog. This region has large populations of elephants, hippos, crocodiles, cape buffalo, birdlife, and rare species of antelope.

Wednesday, Oct 28th: Chobe National Park, Botswana

Early morning (5:45am) departure for a game drive in Chobe National Park 6 hours

Early morning (5:45am) departure for a game drive in Chobe National Park. Expect to see elephants, abundant birdlife, cape buffalo, hippos, crocodiles, lions, and possibly leopards. We will return to Sunbirds Lodge for lunch (this lunch is included with the tour fee).

We'll have lunch at a local restaurant on the Zambezi River, visit a nearby shopping mall, then return to Kasane for dinner and lodging at Sunbirds Chobe Hotel.

Friday, Oct 30th: Kasane, Botswana to Johannesburg, SA

After breakfast, we will be driven to the... 3 hours

After breakfast, we will be driven to the Kasane airport and fly to Johannesburg, South Africa to connect with homebound flights.
