We will stop for 45 minutes for drinks and lunch (not included) at the Saltmarsh Farmhouse Cafe. Walkers will also have the opportunity to buy souvenirs and to learn about the surrounding areas at the centre. A short walk from the Visitors Centre reveals superb views of the meandering Cuckmere River. We will take a short (but steep) walk to Friston Forest and then decend back to Cuckmere Haven on the South Downs Way.
We will return to Seaford Bay via Chyngton... 1 hour 15 minutes
We will return to Seaford Bay via Chyngton Farm, passing huge fields of sheep and cattle. This offers our 3rd glorious view of the Seven Sisters. There is an opportunity to visit Brewsters Coffee Co. at Seaford Head if walkers wish to stop. Our decent passes us through Seaford Head Golf Club (a favourite spot for our Guide, Matt!) Once we arrive back at the Seafront, Matt will be more than happy to take you to one of his favourite Public Houses and share a pint of one of many fantastic local ales.
