Thereafter lunch drive to Musanze the home of... 45 minutes
Thereafter lunch drive to Musanze the home of Mountain Gorillas, golden monkeys and hikes. on your way going you will be having time to discover, view Rwandan Landscapes and also visit the Ellen DeGeneres Campus. A multi acre eco-friendly facility adjacent to the Volcanoes national park designed to serve as gateway to the conservation efforts towards protecting Mountain gorillas, the place is full of her stories and research work, you will enjoy very interesting Gorilla conservation stories in this campus. Head to the lodge, relax enjoy property amenities after check in at the Lodge. Use the lodge amenities. Dinner and rest.
Mountain gorilla trekking and cultural experience
After an early breakfast, you will proceed to... 3 hours
After an early breakfast, you will proceed to the home of mountain Gorillas, the Volcanoes National Park headquarters – Kinigi to meet your guides for the day. After completing our park formalities, we are embarking on a once in a lifetime experience of trekking mountain gorillas. Once you spot them you are allowed to spend one hour watching them do their daily activities.
Return to your hotel / lodge for lunch... 1 hour
Return to your hotel / lodge for lunch and later go for an afternoon Cultural experience at the Gorilla Guardians former Iby’iwacu culture village center, get entertaining history, traditional dance and music, stories of local community and their ways of life. Retire and then dinner and overnight at the Lodge.
Golden monkey trekking and return to Kigali
After breakfast you will proceed to the park... 5 hours
After breakfast you will proceed to the park headquarters to meet your guides for the Golden Monkeys trekking activity, get the briefing and get started, once you meet the monkeys, enjoy their activities for a full hour. After completing your experiences, check out, you will then be transferred back to Kigali with en route lunch in Kigali, do a quick last-minute souvenir shopping, depending on your flight details, you will drive to the Kigali international Airport for your outbound flight to your next destination.
