This is the exact location where biologists from National Park Service released the first wolf pack to walk in Yellowstone since the early 1900's. Not only can we see wolves here but we will see large bison and elk herds grazing in this famous valley.

We will explore the board walks surrounding Mammoth Hot Springs 45 minutes

We will explore the board walks surrounding Mammoth Hot Springs. Mammoth Hot Springs is a very large thermal feature sitting over a large deposit of limestone. The super heated water from the volcano underneath Yellowstone is dissolving the limestone a redepositing it to the surface as travertine limestone causing turquoise pools and unusual terraces.
