Built in 1956, the museum have a collection of over 350 000 pieces, have two sections: natural resources and historic exhibits. You will also see the world-famous bronze "Galloping Horse's Hoof Stepped on a Flying Swallow" which was excavated in 1969. The whole statue is honored as the mysterious and rare treasure in the history of Chinese ancient sculpture art.

Then, you will go ahead to explore the Xiguan Mosque and the nearby muslim market. The Mosque was first built in Ming Dynasty (1368 – 1644). It is not only an important place for local Lanzhou Muslims to do prayers and attend religious activities. It also has held religious schools, which has trained many Muslim scholars and has made great contribution to the development of Islamic education and culture. Stroll around the nearby market and snack street. You may try some if you are interested. Lunch will be held in the nearby restaurant, you can choose the most famous Hand pull beef noodle soup or dishes with rice, just feel free to discuss with your tour guide.
