South Rock Palace【南岩宫】,Taoism called the "holy land" which is the most beautiful place in the 36 rocks of Wudang Mountain. Rebuilted in the 11th year of Yongle in the Ming Dynasty (1413 A.D.), there are150 large and small rooms palaces, Pavilions, etc. The Grand Saint Nanyan Palace was extended into 460 rooms in the 31st year of Jiajing (1552 A.D.) It is called Nanyan because it faces south. Its full name is South Rock Palace which is the most perfect combination of the human landscape and natural landscape of Wudang Mountain. After breakfast, visit Purle clouds Plaace (紫霄宫)about 1 hour , it covers an area of 2740 thousand square meters which is a well-preserved imperial temple complex in Wudang Mountain. At the same time, it is a building that protected well in Wudang Mountain, also it’s the bigges wooden building in Wudang Mountain. It’s a imperial temple and it’s a good place to pray for good luck. Then take the cableway to Gold top (金顶) for visiting for about 2 hours, it is the largest bronze-cast gold hall in China built in the 14th year of Yongle Ming Dynasty (1416AD). The hall is 5.5 meters in height ,5.8 meters in width and 4.2 meters in deepth , it is located in the highest peak of Tianzhu Mountain which is 1613 above sea level, it’s said only you walk to the gold top means you are real in Wudang Mountain. Then take bus to Shiyan City, take express train train to Hankou at 18:39, arrive in Hankou at 22.21.
