- The cost of the entrance fee to Petra depends upon many variables. The cost depends upon where the client comes from. For Jordanians it is JOD 1 per person for a day visit. Non Jordanians with Jordanian residency JOD 10 per person. For Arabs the cost is JOD 30 per person for a day visit. All other nationalities are JOD 50 per person for a day visit. It also depends upon their age as if they are under 12 years of age it is free of charge for all nationalities. Also sometimes clients have prebooked and paid for their tickets prior to their visit.

You will be picked up at your Amman... 4 hours
You will be picked up at your Amman hotel or at Queen Alia International airport, Amman and driven (3 hours) to Petra. A professional local guide will then take you on a 2 1/2 hour private tour of this fabulous site to include the walk through the 1200m (2/3 mile) Siq to see the Treasury, the Street of Facades, passed the Theatre and have a panoramic view of the Royal Tombs then walk down the Roman Street before finishing the tour Then, at your own pace walk back to the entrance of Petra to meet up with your driver. (1 1/2 hours) Then drive back to Amman (3 hours) where you will be dropped off.
