• Questacon - National Science and Technology Centre - Hands on physics (mainly for kids)
• National Gallery of Australia - Important Works of Art. No entry fee.
• National Portrait Gallery - Renowned Portrait Gallery
• High Court of Australia - Australia's Highest Court of Appeal in Australia. Three court rooms in a ten story building. Wonderful architecture. No entry fee.
• Old Parliament House - Australia's most important Building, now the Museum of Australian Democracy. Everything has been preserved from when the Hawke Government moved to the current Parliament House. No entry fee, cafe here.
• Parliament House - Home of Australia' Parliament, one of the great buildings of the world. The result of a world wide competition. An original Magna Carta, dated 1297, on display hereNo entry fee.
• National Museum of Australia - Australiana over the last two hundred years. Phar Laps heart, the original prototype for the Holden Motor Car. Pompei Exhibition.
