Penjikent is a small city in Tajikistan territory. We will stop for buying some water and food. Samarkand – Panjikent Our tour starts at 8:00 from your hotel. Meet up with our driver in your hotel and transfer to Uzbek - Tajik border. We need to walk to cross the border Uzbek-Tajik. After brief passport control, (Please check your passports, Europeans do not need a visa) we meet by Tajikistan guide and drive to the second big city of Tajikistan – Panjikent.

The lakes are called the “Haftkul” by local people which It means “Seven lakes” in English. Tour starts from Samarkand to Panjikent city and drive to the 7 beautiful jewel lakes. Seven lakes and Picnic on the Fann Mountains We stop in a local small shop for buying some food for the picnic. Drive to the Seven lakes (1,640 meters to 2,400 meters above sea level) Nezhigon, Soya, Gushor, Nofin, Khurdak, Marguzor, Hazorchashma - indescribable views, emerald green and turquoise lakes surrounded by snow-capped mountains... and the distance between the first and last lakes is more than 14 kilometers. Tour takes 8-9 hours going and come back. The best time for visiting is late June–mid-September for trekking and July–August for mountaineering, when the weather is usually at its best.
