Kathgodam to Munsiari by Road (approx. 10 hours )
Pick up from Kathgodam station early morning, and... 24 hours
Pick up from Kathgodam station early morning, and start our long journey towards munisyari ( approx. 250 km) , breakfast at Almora, and lunch at chaukori , As we stop for birding at various points along the way. Brown dipper , crested kingfisher at Kainchi dham and Thrushes at Chaukori. Post lunch , we head towards munsiyari, with a brief stopover at Birthi falls to enjoy the Majestic waterfall. Late evening we check into the hotel, followed by dinner .

early start at 5 a.m , as we head towards Betuli dhar Forest , at an altitude of around 2600m Primarily to look for Monal, cheer phesant , koklaas and finches, the Forest around the road is also good for Woodpeckers, tits, warblers, laughing thrushes and wood pigeons. We scan the area, exploring and photographing till 10 a.m and head back to munisyari town for breakfast, Post breakfast , and a two hour rest, lunch , as we make our way to Nanda devi temple for some afternoon birding, Primarily looking for finches, Accentores, fiire fronted serin, eastern goldfinch, golden bush robin etc. Late evening we head back to the hotel for dinner and rest

Early start as this time we make way towards Sarmoli villlage to again look for finches, Scimitar babblers, Wren babblers, Bar throated siva, Yuhinas and thrushes. Back to munsiari for breakfast, Lunch followed by afternoon birding near Betuli bend specifically for Grossbeaks, Steppe eagle and bearded vultures

early morning start ( with packed breakfast ) towards Khaliya top primarily to look for Satyr tragopan , This exercise will require the guests to trek up for about an hour, looking to get close to the habitat that the tragopan prefers. The area arround is also good for winter wrens., woodpeckers, Babblers, wren babblers, Spotted laughing thrush etc. ,Back to Munsiari for lunch followed by another excursion in the afternoon to Betuli dhar for other high altitude birds

Early morning birding at madkote till 11, to look for birds found near water or at a lowera latitude during winters, whihc could include chestnut headed tesia, Laughing thrushes, Warblers, Maroon oriole to name a few . Back to the resort for Breakfast and lunch will be followed by another session at college road to look for left out species .
