We’ll also cross the Stone Bridge, a remarkable 12th-century engineering feat that once served as the only way to traverse the Danube in this region. With stunning views of Regensburg’s Old Town at every corner, this walk offers a perfect blend of history, architecture, and scenic beauty, all set within one of Europe’s most remarkable UNESCO-listed sites.

During the tour we visit the Brewery Museum to learn more about the making of beer and why it is so important for Czechs. Pilsen city also has a charming Old Town with the beautiful St Bartholomew Cathedral , Town Hall , and the stunning Great Synagogue that you will see as we walk around in Pilsen. You will have a chance to taste Pilsner Urquell , the world famous beer during lunch (not included).

We will walk up the hill to Karlštejn Castle’s courtyard. The castle sits on a steep hill and stays hidden from view until it suddenly appears high above you, creating a dramatic sight. On the way up, we’ll pass through a small village at the base of the hill. The main road leading to the castle is lined with little shops and cafés, offering a great chance to take short breaks and enjoy the atmosphere. Once we reach the top, we’ll be rewarded with beautiful views of the surrounding countryside, making the climb well worth it.
