Mt. Inunaki is regarded as one of the oldest sacred mountains in Japan. According to recent historical research and advances in the academic study of Shugen-do, Mt. Inunaki is now considered the birthplace of Shugen-do. We hike up this mountain to the temple. About 35 minutes bus transportation from Izumisano station to Mt. Inunaki and its return transportation is included in the tour duration.

The Inunaki River flows through the mountains, and there are seven waterfalls and places to practice.
