Concesión San Manuel (1870–1942), A historic mining site where valuable minerals were extracted from 1870 to 1942 – an impressive testament to the region’s industrial past. We pass through the San Manuel Tunnel, built in 1902, with a maximum height of 1.30 to 1.60 meters, and follow a straight, elevated path. Along the way, we pass several small caves and a historic loading station for iron ore, until we reach the viaduct Puente Barranco de La Prarda, where our Jeeps will already be waiting for you. Note: The route requires no physical endurance, as it is relatively flat. The views are breathtaking!
