Canes are permitted, but walking sticks are not allowed. There is a low step to board the van, and all guests must be able to get on and off the vehicle independently, without assistance from the driver. Most Road to Hana tours operated legally have similar restrictions, as ADA-compliant vans are wider and subject to different regulations.
