Itinerary
Nairobi to Masai Mara
Early in the morning, you'll be picked up... 7 hours
Early in the morning, you'll be picked up from your hotel to the assembling point between 7:00-7:30am. Thereafter, the safari starts around 8:30 am to Masai Mara with a brief stopover at the Great Rift Valley viewpoint for a chance to view and take pictures of the Great Rift Valley. Thereafter, proceed to Masai Mara via Narok Town. You'll arrive at Masai Mara at around 1:30 pm. Check into your respective camp, have Lunch and after refreshments proceed to a late afternoon game drive inside the famous Masai Mara National Reserve until 6:30 pm when the park closes. You'll have dinner and sleep at wildnest Lenchada Sankale or budget tented camp with self-contained tents.
Masai Mara Full Day
This is a busy day 7 hours
This is a busy day! After early breakfast with a picnic lunch, you'll spend a full day exploring this unique park which really forms the northern part of the famous Serengeti National Park. You'll have the chance to visit the Mara River at the border of Masai Mara and the famous Serengeti Park where there is a large concentration of many animals. We'll take our lunch by the river under a tree inside the park. Later in the evening at the camp, you will have the option of doing a walking safari that leads you to a Maasai village. This is an optional activity and costs an extra USD $10 to $20, it's negotiable and paid directly at the village. Dinner and night stay at Wildnest Lenchada Sankale or a budget tented camp with self-contained tents.
Masai Mara - Nairobi
After breakfast 5 hours
After breakfast. You'll have an optional cultural visit to the masai village. Afterwards, check out and drive back to Nairobi via Narok town. You'll be arriving in Nairobi at around 3:30 pm for a drop off at your hotel.
