Traveling southeast, we journey through small villages until we reach the Atlas Mountains, ascending to the Tizi N Tichka pass (2260m). Passing through Berber villages, we continue to Ouarzazate, stopping to explore the Kasbah of Taourirt.then traverse picturesque valleys to Agdez, with stunning views of its Palmira. Next, we head to Zagora Village, where camels await to transport you to the desert camp. Witness a majestic sunset, share tea, and engage in singing and dancing around a campfire after a homemade dinner.
DAY 2 : ZAGORA - DRAA VALLEY - TIZI-N-TICHA - MARRAKECH
The second day of the 2 days desert... 12 hours
The second day of the 2 days desert tour from marrakech to zagora starts with an early breakfast, so don’t miss out the awesome sunrise Zagora has to offer. We leave Zagora behind us and head straight back to the amazing village of Ait Ben Haddou, declared by the UNESCO as a world heritage site, where we will have lunch. The village is known as a backdrop for many cinematographic works - the most famous ones are ‘The gladiator’, ‘Lawrence of Arabia’ and even some scenes of the classic ‘Game of thrones’ were shot in this place. After the visit we go back through the Tichka pass to Marrakech where we arrive in the evening.
