En-route stopover: Visit Sezibwa Falls (Buganda Heritage Site): Not your ordinary waterfall, Sezibwa is steeped in legend! It is said that a woman expecting twins instead gave birth to two rivers, Sezibwa and Bwanda, which flow below the falls. Traditional pilgrimages are held here, with offerings of herbs, stones, or other items believed to bring good luck. Beyond its fascinating history, the stunning views and roaring waters are awe-inspiring. Activities include rock climbing, self-guided nature walks, and birding.

Proceed to Mabira Eco Forest for a Guided Nature Walk: Explore Mabira Forest, once known as Uganda’s “Amazon,” covering 300 sq.km between Lugazi and Jinja, and protected as a forest reserve since 1932.
