The high plateau of Assi, also called Assy-Turgen, is located east of Almaty, just a hundred kilometers away. The plateau is located at an altitude of almost 3000 meters above sea level. These are incredible places, where fantastically beautiful landscapes and amazing pictures open before your eyes In summer, the Assy plateau acquires imaginative shades and a riot of colors, as its territory is full of various plants blooming directly on the stones. In these places, you can meet many amazing and beautiful landscapes that you want to capture on the camera, for example, beautiful flowers, whimsical trees, picturesque hills, moss-covered stones, herds of horses peacefully grazing on plains and a river with incredibly clear water. In the river you can fish, and at night stretch a tent camp in a picturesque grove. In winter, the Assy plateau acquires incredible beauty: the magically blue sky and pearly white snow landscapes literally fall in love with everyone who has come to these places. It creates the feeling that you are on another planet. Due to its relief, it has huge sports prospects, as it is planned to create a world-class ski resort on its territory High-altitude plateau goes along the river Assy to the east. Along the river Assy there are ancient burial mounds and rock carvings, which are one of the highest mountain clusters of petroglyphs in Kazakhstan.
