We will take advantage of the time on the road explaining all the interesting facts about Guatemala and its vibrant culture. Getting to Iximché will take us 2 and a half hours. During the trip you will see many different landscapes, you will go from hot to cold as we will go to the highlands. Enjoy the road.

After our time on the road, we will arrive at the Mayan city of Iximché. This was the last Mayan city in Guatemala before the coming of the Spanish conquerors. Get ready to know its history full of wars, conquests, betrayals, kings, and more. You will be accompanied all the time by a tour guide specialized in archeology and history, so rest assured that all the questions you may have will be answered. This site is frequently visited by people of Mayan descent to carry out different ceremonies. They can be ceremonies of a petition, gratitude, etc. If we are lucky and if the local people allow it, we will be able to witness a Mayan ceremony.
