Tour Itinerary

Our first stop is in the mountain pass of Glenshiel 1 hour 42 minutes

Our first stop is in the mountain pass of Glenshiel. A historic battle was fought here, not as you might expect between warring Highland Clans but between the British Red Coats and the Spanish who were in support of the Jacobite Rising of 1719. Today, it's one of the most beautiful mountain passes in Scotland.

Located at the intersection of 3 sea lochs... 1 hour

Located at the intersection of 3 sea lochs on a small tidal island is the most photographed castle in Scotland. It's interiors are as captivating as it is seen from outside. The castle is a popular location for films, TV, advertisements, fashion shoots and music videos.

Rising impressively above the water, the bridge offers ample clearance for even the tallest ships navigating these waters. Consequently, the ascent to its highest point appears remarkably steep when viewed from certain perspectives.

Sligachan A charming tale often shared with Visitors says... 1 hour

Sligachan A charming tale often shared with Visitors says that if you immerse your face in the water beneath the Sligachan bridge for seven seconds and allow it to air dry completely, you'll be blessed with everlasting beauty.

We'll arrive in a small quaint town of Portree for lunch 1 hour 40 minutes

We'll arrive in a small quaint town of Portree for lunch. Streets are lined with a variety of quirky local shops. A picturesque stretch of pastel colored houses by the harbour is a favorite photo spot for visitors and locals alike.

Our Feature Attraction Option 1 (recommended) will take... 1 hour 55 minutes

Our Feature Attraction Option 1 (recommended) will take you on an unforgettable journey through the stunning landscapes of the North-East of the Isle of Skye. We offer challenging hikes or a comfortable walk at your own pace. For avid hikers we find the Old Man of Storr rewarding. Legend points out to a giant who lived on the Trotternish Ridge. To be able to reach and touch the 'Thumb' of the old man is a once in a lifetime experience. For a more relaxed hike, we can head out to the Quiraing to enjoy scenery that was formed at the end of the ice age when a bed of solidified lava about 300m thick broke away and began to slip into the sea creating a 'land-before-time' landscape. This route also goes to the Kilt Rock with sea-cliffs that resembles pleats and even simulate colours of traditional Scottish kilt - about 180ft high. Other Stops in our North-East route if time permits are Mealtfalls, Lealt Falls, Kyleakin, Rigg Viewpoint,

Our Feature Attraction Option 2 will guide you... 1 hour 55 minutes

Our Feature Attraction Option 2 will guide you through the South-West of the Isle of Skye, a region rich in both mystical charm and historical significance. A 2.4km walk on gravel, peat, grass, heather and an amazing view of the Cuillin Mountains leads to the stunning Fairypools. Some believe that the pools are gateways connecting our world with the realm of fairies, serving as a passage for their travels. We'll step into Dunvegan Castle which holds the distinction of being the oldest continuously inhabited castle in Scotland and the ancestral home of the Clan MacLeod. We'll visit the oldest working whisky distillery on the island - Talisker. We believe it is a fantastic way to enrich your overall Scottish experience.

Return journey to Inverness 2 hours 48 minutes

Return journey to Inverness. We will be making stops along the way to allow for bathroom breaks and opportunities to stretch your legs comfortably.
