The National museum has different departments. Each of them transfers us to a diverse era. We will travel through time to more than thousands years in the past to talk about the stone age and how did those people survived during that time. On the other hand, we will use the time capsule to travel 300 years back to meet the founder of Saudi Arabia. We will visit some places that have emotional breath-taking stories related to king Abdulaziz and how did he unify the Kingdome of Saudi Arabia. Finally, we will discover the history of the unification of the 1st, 2nd and 3rd Saudi estate from 1727 up to now.
Almasmak Fort 1 hour
Almasmak Fort. Actually, it is one of the important places that you need to visit during your stay in Riyadh. It was the headquarter of the army. This fort is one of the most important castles in Riyadh. In front of its gate, a battle was happened in 1902 where it was the beginning of a new era of the kingdom. We will go back through time to witness the regain of the fort by the founder King Abdulaziz. Then, you will enjoy passing through the old antique auction market.

This village ( Diriyah),,, The history of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia began,, From here, the nucleus of the Kingdom was established. From here, Diriyah was besieged for six months and was destroyed by cannons. From here we will begin the story of the beginning of the first Saudi state and how the events took place in building this kingdom. Diriyah was the original home of the Saudi royal family, and served as the capital of the Emirate of Diriyah under the first Saudi dynasty from 1727 to 1818. The Turaif district at Addiriyah, the first capital city of Saudis in Diriyah, was enlisted as a UNESCO World Heritage Site in 2010.
