Cycle from the lake shore at Garrykennedy, before heading up into the hills for stunnign views of the lough.
Near the top of Tountinna, we will pause... 10 minutes
Near the top of Tountinna, we will pause at the "Graves of the Leinstermen" site to look down over the lough. This is a neolithic site, which later became part of the legends of High King Brian Boru.
On our way downhill to Garrykennedy we will... 10 minutes
On our way downhill to Garrykennedy we will pass through Castlelough, a beautiful lakeshore location with a historic church and a 16th century castle.
