Tour Itinerary
The tour to Las Tintoreras, located near Puerto... 3 hours
The tour to Las Tintoreras, located near Puerto Villamil on Isabela Island, is an experience of approximately 2 to 3 hours that combines sailing, hiking and snorkeling. During the short boat crossing from the port, it is common to spot Galapagos penguins, blue-footed boobies and sea lions. When landing on the islet, a hike of about 35 minutes takes place on volcanic lava formations, where you can observe marine iguanas, local birds and natural channels that host whitetip sharks, known locally as "dyers". Subsequently, a snorkeling session takes place in calm and crystal clear waters, offering the opportunity to swim alongside oily fish, sea turtles, manta rays and, occasionally, sea lions.
The Arnaldo Tupiza Giant Turtle Breeding Center in... 1 hour
The Arnaldo Tupiza Giant Turtle Breeding Center in Isla Isabela is a conservation center dedicated to the reproduction and protection of Galapagos endemic turtles. Here you can observe turtles of different ages and learn about their incubation and breeding process. The program seeks to increase the population of these species threatened by invasive species and volcanic eruptions. After the visit to the breeding center, we headed to the flamingo pool.
