Itinerary
Puno - La Paz - Uyuni
We are at the terminal in Puno 16 hours
We are at the terminal in Puno. 5:30 at 6 am Transfer by tourist bus from Puno to La Paz (depending on availability, it may be via Desaguadero or Copacabana). Free afternoon to visit the city of La Paz and take the cable car (optional). Arrive at the La Paz terminal at 8:30 pm. The bus leaves at 9:00 pm from La Paz to Uyuni (schedules may vary). Once in Uyuni, staff will be waiting to welcome you and then take you to a café for breakfast. A guide is not included during this trip.

Pick up from the café to start the tour (10:30 a 10 hours
Pick up from the café to start the tour (10:30 a.m.) The first stop will be the train cemetery. Then we will head to the community of Colchani (the gateway to the Salar) where we will find rustic craft workshops and the rustic table salt micro-processing plant. Continuing with the expedition to the majestic Salar de Uyuni, we will make stops to see salt extraction, the eyes of the salt flat, and the Sal Playa Blanca hotel, which currently only functions as a museum. Afterwards, we will visit the most popular island in the Salar, located in the middle of the Salar, Incahuasi Island, where we will hike and appreciate large expanses of cacti, sea rock fossils, and spectacular 360° views from the viewpoint. At the end of our tour, we will head to the town of Uyuni.
