You will see the boarding gate right beside the 'KIWI' supermarket. The boat tour takes 3 hours each way. The highlight of the tour is the cruise along the UNESCO Geirangerfjord incl "The Seven Sister Waterfall" and the 2,5 h stop in the village of Geiranger. As you starting directly in Ålesund you are able to walk to the boat from most of the city hotels. The airport shuttle bus station is also close to the boat as well as the cruise port of Ålesund.
