Excursion to Waqrapukara with Coca Ceremony || Private Service ||

To begin the tour to Waqrapukara, we will pick you up from your hotel at 4:00 a 13 hours

To begin the tour to Waqrapukara, we will pick you up from your hotel at 4:00 a.m. and head south to admire the Pomacanchi Lagoon. Continuing the tour, we will arrive at Sangarara, where we will have breakfast and then continue to the community of Rinconada, where we will begin the hike to Waqrapukara. On this hike, we will observe a wide variety of flora and fauna typical of the area until we reach the archaeological site of Waqrapukara. Upon arrival, we will participate in a coca leaf ritual led by our guide. We will also visit the following sites: Intipunku (Sun Gate), the main square, towers, terraces, the Wiracocha site, and cave paintings. After visiting Waqrapukara, we will begin the return trip to Sangarara, where we will have lunch and board our transportation back to Cusco.
