Tour Itinerary
First of all, we will visit the Chorrillos Artisanal Fishing Pier 1 hour
First of all, we will visit the Chorrillos Artisanal Fishing Pier. It is one of the major trading points for marine products in the capital and mainly in the area. If we go back in history, they revolve around the sea and the fact of being the first spa in Peru in the times of Castile. The Lima of the wall received mullet and croaker daily brought in old baskets by the wives of the fishermen, whose donkeys walked the cobbled streets of the city to ship their merchandise from door to door.
Secondly, we will visit the Surquillo Market 1 hour
Secondly, we will visit the Surquillo Market. This market has become a kind of mecca for international foodies after the praise of famous Peruvian chef Gastón Acurio. The market is open every day and the vast amount of food and spices sold here include exotic fruits from the Amazon rainforest, potatoes and chilies from the tops of the distant Andes mountains, fresh fish and seafood from the coast and meats of different types, including alpaca and the famous guinea pig. Continuing our gastronomic experience, we will visit 2 of the fast food restaurants that are very popular among Limeños and foreigners due to their participation in a documentary titled Street Food Latin America and in both Huariques we will try their different specialties.

After delighting our palate, we will visit the historic center of Lima and walk through its old streets appreciating its impressive balconies, churches and colonial mansions such as; the main square of Lima, the cathedral, the government palace, the convent of San Francisco and its catacombs. Later we will sweeten our palate by trying the famous Spanish churros (filled with white delicacy or pastry cream accompanied with white sugar), then we will visit a local bar to learn the preparation of our flagship drink of Peru "El Pisco Sour" (a drink made from grape pisco, silt, gum syrup, egg white and angostura bitters) Finishing our tour we will visit the Chabuca Granda mall to try the Peruvian donuts known by locals as picarones (they are made of sweet potato dough accompanied by honey).
