We will begin our adventure by entering a local market in the Amazon. This colorful market is a true treasure of the region, where locals trade a variety of exotic fruits and tropical fruits rarely found in other parts of the world. There you will have the choice of two exciting culinary experiences. In one option, you can try chontacuros, appreciated by locals for being rich in protein and relief from some diseases. Or opt for the tropical fruit option like guaba.

We take a walk through the jungle, where our specialized guide will teach you about medicinal, poisonous and edible plants, with the possibility of also observing some animals. We will continue to the beautiful Hola Vida Waterfall that falls from the top of a rock formation with an impressive 30-meter drop, where you can cool off and swim in its crystal-clear waters. Afterwards, we will return to the car and travel approximately 15 minutes to have lunch at a local restaurant, where you will eat traditional local dishes.

Our next destination is a visit to a community, where we will be received by Kichwa indigenous people who will explain their way of life, traditional clothing made by hand with natural materials, the paint on the faces of men and women, also their way of hunting and fishing. . We will even have the opportunity to learn how to use the blowgun, an ancient tool for hunting animals! And don't forget the souvenirs. You can purchase unique crafts made by members of the community, using plants, bones and animal feathers. Best of all, your visit to this community will not only be an enriching experience, but it will also directly contribute to sustainable tourism, helping to financially support the community and preserve its valuable traditions. Also, you will navigate the Puyo River in a canoe where with some luck we will be able to observe some birds and animals in the distance.

On this exciting visit to an artisanal chocolate factory, you will explore the entire process of transforming cocoa into a delicious delicacy. Starting in the cocoa plantations, you will observe the harvest of the fruits and learn about the local varieties. Then, in a stove, you will witness the roasting of the cocoa and then it will be ground to obtain pure cocoa paste. But the most surprising thing is that, using this freshly ground cocoa paste, they will prepare a fresh cup of hot chocolate.
