The Ol-Njorowa Gorge is a worthy attraction as it leads to the local Maasai Market and Pride Rock (Lion King) viewpoint. It is located on the Olkaria side of the park. The gorge is protected by the local Maasai community who also act as guides. The hike into the gorge is challenging with deep valleys and steep descends/climbs. The gorge also has different locations such as the side gorge where part of the movie Tomb Raider 2, Cradle for Life was shot. The Gorge hike also goes through the Oloorkarian Cultural Maasai Market, an optional stop for guests.
