Black and Moon Canyons + Kolsay lake
After pick up, we'll start our journey with the Moon Canyon 30 minutes
After pick up, we'll start our journey with the Moon Canyon. The route from the city to this site will take around 4 hours. At Moon Canyon in the Almaty region, you can explore the otherworldly landscape of colorful rock formations, hike along trails to take in the stunning views, and capture incredible photos of the unique scenery.
Next, we'll stop at the Black Canyon to... 20 minutes
Next, we'll stop at the Black Canyon to gaze and take photos of the canyon with panoramic view for about 15-20 minutes.
After that we'll arrive at Kolsai lake, where... 1 hour 30 minutes
After that we'll arrive at Kolsai lake, where you can relax and savor the beauty of nature around. We'll spend approximately 1.5 hours at the lake so you can take a break & photos and enjoy the view. Then we'll head to the local village Saty where we'll spend the night. Important to note that we accommodate our guests on shared room basis: female and male guests separately. Private rooms are available for additional payment of 20USD. Please contact the manager for the details.
Kaiyndy lake - Charyn Canyon
Day 2 starts with the delicious breakfast in the village 2 hours
Day 2 starts with the delicious breakfast in the village. After that we'll take a Soviet van to the lake Kaiyndy. At the lake, you can enjoy exploring scenic trails around the lake and capturing the unique sunken forest. After that we'll be heading back to the village to have lunch.

We'll be heading to Charyn Canyon approximately at 16:00. We'll have a short walk at the bottom of the canyon then small hiking to see the stunning view of canyon from above.
