On day one of adventure begins with a float through a rainforest paradise with Aussie Drifterz for a half day Tubing tour. We'll choose the optimal river for your day of travel water level dependent, either beautiful Behana Gorge-the locals favourite, or the Mulgrave River which has water year round and spectacular rainforest scenery.
In the afternoon, we'll up the ante and... 4 hours
In the afternoon, we'll up the ante and take on the Barron River with Foaming Fury on a half day White Water Rafting trip. Only a 20 minute drive from Cairns city, stunning rainforest combines with Grade 3 rapids to create an exhilarating yet peaceful rating adventure. All safety equipment and tuition is provided making this the perfect trip for beginner rafters as well as those who have rafted before.
Day Two-Atherton Tablelands with Waterfall Wanderers
Day two includes visits to the natural rockslide... 11 hours
Day two includes visits to the natural rockslide of Josephine Falls before adventuring through a series of spectacular waterfalls and volcanic lakes on the Atherton Tablelands with Waterfall Wanderers. We'll visit the world famous Millaa Millaa waterfall before heading off for lunch in Malanda - The Top Rail, spotting platypus in Yungaburra and visiting the Curtain Fig Tree-sure to impress! Our last stop of the day is beautiful Lake Eacham, a volcanic crater lake heated from below, ensuring a balmy water temperature all year round!
Day Three- Cape Tribulation with Active Tropics Explorer
For your third day visit the oldest rainforest... 12 hours
For your third day visit the oldest rainforest in the world, The Daintree, and explore Cape Tribulation Region with Active Tropics Explorer. Your day starts with a coastal drive and a Welcome to Country and Smoke Ceremony with the local indigenous Kuku Yalanji people of Mossman Gorge. Swim in the crystal clear waters of the Gorge before we head up to the Daintree. Enjoy lunch. Then sail off on your Daintree River Cruise to see some wildlife. Keep your eyes peeled as crocs are plentiful here! Stop for a locally made rainforest ice-cream and spectacular scenery as we make our way from Thornton's Beach back to Cairns.
