You'll learn about how the park was developed and the role it played in the development of the neighborhood, just like it's brother in Manhattan, Central Park. Famous and wealthy people occupied the homes along the park and still do!

We'll descend down the slope from Prospect Park to 7th Avenue. You'll see quiet out of the way streets which Hollywood has used for many movies! We'll discuss Park Slope most important commercial street, the home of beautiful boutiques, great restaurants. Once upon a time, Park Slope had a pub that many would call the "Cheers" of the neighborhood. And sadly, unknown to many today we'll stop at the site of America's worst aviation disaster until 9/11/2001.
