Tour Itinerary
We will begin our adventure, making two stops... 25 minutes
We will begin our adventure, making two stops of landscape contemplation, Mirador del Valle Carbajal, and Paso Garibaldi. In the latter, we will also be able to contemplate the landscapes that will await us some time later. We will descend the same to Lake Escondido, along the old route of National Route Number 3.
Upon arriving at the mountain refuge on the... 1 hour
Upon arriving at the mountain refuge on the side of Lake Fagnano, after using toilets, we will begin our hike, where we enter a century-old lenga forest until we reach the area of the beavers. We must approach stealthily so as not to disturb these incredible animals, who as if they were architects build their levees and burrows with the trees of the area. These small calm water reservoirs, also chosen by Cauquen families, are the places where the beavers live. Upon returning to the cabin they will be waiting for us with a delicious dinner.
At our stop in Estancia La Carmen we... 2 hours
At our stop in Estancia La Carmen we will have the possibility to enjoy the facilities at the side of Lake Fagnano, one of the most extensive in Argentina and South America. Once in the shelter, in the heat of the embers, among shared anecdotes, we will begin to enjoy a ham and cheese bite, with a delicious glass of wine, while we cook the roast, or walk to the side of the lake, enjoying the best views on the docks, contemplating the beauties of the environment sitting on one of the benches on the shores of the lake.
