San Juan is also home to small artisan chocolate workshops and pure honey producers, where you can taste natural flavors and learn about the role of the Mayan bee in local agriculture. The experience is completed with a visit to the Catholic Church of St. John the Baptist, a place of faith where indigenous and Christian traditions are mixed, reflecting the cultural syncretism of the people.
