Our day starts at 7am when we pick you up from your hotel in Manaus
Our day starts at 7am when we pick you up from your hotel in Manaus. We head to the Ceasa Port where you will board a speedboat along the Rio Negro. As we navigate the waters, the first stop on the trip is the floating village of Catalão. Here we will visit a fish farm where you can see the Giant Arapaima Gigas, the largest scaled fish in the world. You will be able to feed them and feel how strong they are! After visiting the fish farm, we proceed by speedboat to the meeting of the waters. Here the Rio Negro and the Solimões River meet but don’t mix. Afterward, we continue along the river to the Careiro village. From there we will continue by road for about an hour to Maçarico lake. The final leg is by speedboat and you will arrive at the lodge at about 11:30 am. At noon, delicious local cuisine will be served for lunch.

We head back on the waters at 8:30 pm in search of the fearsome Cayman. Your jungle guide will snatch a Cayman out of the water, allowing you to learn more about it up close, after which it’ll be carefully returned to its habitat.
