Your guide will pick you up at your hotel or the airport in the city of Iquitos at 08:00 am. If you prefer the guide to pick you up at the airport, remember to indicate your flight details and arrival time when booking.
In the company of your guide, you will head to Nauta on a 2-hour drive by road 3 hours
In the company of your guide, you will head to Nauta on a 2-hour drive by road. Once there, you will take the boat that will take you to the lodge, located on the banks of the Ucayali River, in front of the Pacaya Samiria National Reserve. On the way you will pass the point where the Ucayali River and the Marañon River meet, considered the birthplace of the Amazon River. Take advantage of the boat ride (about 3 hours long) to discover all the activities you can do in the Iquitos Jungle and plan your itinerary with the guide.

As the tour is a private service, you will be able to customize it and choose the activities you want to do in each moment. In order for you to better understand the adventure you will live, we have written this itinerary, which is the most chosen by our travelers, please take it only as an example: Upon arrival at the lodge, you will be accommodated in your private room and after lunch, the adventure will start riding a boat on the Amazon, enjoying the wonderful sunset and swimming close to the famous pink dolphins. We will return to the lodge for dinner and in the evening we can participate in an expedition in search of the nocturnal animals that live in the jungle.

After having breakfast and getting our strength back, we will start our second day in Iquitos with a jungle walk. You will be able to appreciate firsthand the spectacular nature of the Amazon while the guide explains everything our eyes see. - We will return to the lodge for lunch, you will have time to rest and later we will go out by boat for bird watching. We will approach an area where we will see monkeys, if we are lucky, some will even approach the boat to say hello!

We will return to the lodge to enjoy a relaxing dinner and then we will have the chance to go out in the boats to look for caimans with our flashlights and see in the darkness of the night the reflection of their bright and lively eyes. Quite an adventure!

After breakfast at the lodge, we will leave once again with the boats to continue discovering the Iquitos jungle. Today we will have ahead of us a unique activity that you can only do in the Amazon: fishing for piranhas. On the way back, we will be able to see the impressive Amazonian Victorias, known as the giant water lilies.

We will return to the lodge for lunch, pick up our luggage and at 2:00 PM we will head to Iquitos in the boat with the guide. You will be able to choose where you want the transportation to take you. Either to your accommodation in the city of Iquitos or to the airport to take your flight back.
