Experience a full day of adventures in Oslob with whale sharks and Sumilon island’s public sand bar. Sumilon Island is one of the famous attractions of Oslob before whale sharks do. The island is the first marine protected area in the Philippines and has been protected as a marine sanctuary since 1974. Just a 10 minutes boat ride from Bangcogon Oslob mainland, is a beautiful yet small island surrounded by a reef with crystal clear waters, different species of marine life, and just one private resort manage by Bluewater Sumilon island resort.
