Catania is a metropolis with a thousand facets 24 hours
Catania is a metropolis with a thousand facets. Set like a precious gem between the barren Etna volcano and the blue Ionian Sea. It is a place full of architectural beauties such as: THE PIAZZA DEL DUOMO, an iconic place of the city located in the historic center; THE CATHEDRAL OF SANTA AGATA. During the tour we will explore THE AMENANO FOUNTAIN and continue with a visit to the URSINO CIVIC MUSEUM, where inside you can admire interesting paintings, baroque murals and an impressive archaeological collection. We will conclude the day's tour with a guided tour of the MASSIMO BELLINI THEATER. At the end of the day you will be returned to your hotel.
Sunday: SYRACUSE-NOTO

Syracuse is one of the most beautiful cities in Sicily, located in the south of the island, full of attractions such as: Greek theatres, Roman ruins, mysterious caves, Norman castles, Gothic and Byzantine churches alongside very modern buildings...The different pasts of the city, live next to each other and make Syracuse one of the most fascinating cities in all of Sicily. Here you will admire the Island of Ortigia, the historic center of the city connected to the mainland by two bridges; the Greek Theater which is today the center of the Archaeological Park of the Neapolis of Syracuse; the Roman Amphitheatre; the Cathedral of Syracuse; the Maniace Castle and the Temple of Apollo, the oldest Doric temple in all of Sicily.

Another destination that we will visit during this day is Noto, called the "Capital of Baroque". The historic center of Noto is small and can be explored entirely on foot. The main street of Noto is Corso Vittorio Emanuele III, where, step by step, you can discover squares, monasteries, churches and noble palaces. At the beginning of the Corso you will find the Royal Gate which is the symbol of entry into the city. Continuing you will come across Piazza dell'Immacolata and the Church of San Francesco d'Assisi. Also on the Corso, the Church of Santa Chiara. During the route, continuing to climb, you will come out onto the wonderful Panoramic Terrace. It is an exceptional observation point overlooking the squares and the Cathedral of Noto. The symbol of the city is the Cathedral of Noto, in late Baroque style, located at the end of a very scenic staircase. On the other side of the square is Palazzo Ducezio which hides true beauty inside! From the entrance the stairs will lead you to the Hall of Mirrors...
