Itinerary
Day 1. – Baltra - Santa Cruz Highlands (bikes)
Your private certified guide will pick you up at the airport 3 hours
Your private certified guide will pick you up at the airport. Then, we will move to the Itabaca Canal and cross on a ferry. Later, we will drive the vehicle to the ranch "El Chato" in the highlands to see giant outdoor turtles. The visit includes Twin craters and Lava Tunnels
Day 2. – Tortuga Bay Beach - Charles Darwin Station ( hike, kayak, swimming)
We will visit Tortuga BayBeach where you will... 4 hours
We will visit Tortuga BayBeach where you will enjoy the unique beach surrounded by its natural environment. 2-3 hours hike and swimming
You will visit the Charles Darwin Research Station... 1 hour
You will visit the Charles Darwin Research Station where you will have the opportunity to learn about Galapagos conservation in action.
Day 3. – Speed boat to Isabela “Las Tintoreras” (Kayak, snorkel)
At 6:30 am we will pick you up... 4 hours
At 6:30 am we will pick you up at the hotel and accompany you to the harbor, where you will take the shared speed boat at 7:00 am to Isabela (approx. 2- 3-hour ride). Our staff will welcome you and accompany you to your hotel for check-in. After lunch we will explore Las Tintoreras by kayak, a chain of small islets full of cove and hidden beaches. The islet of Tintoreras is situates in the south of Puerto Villamil. It has a bay where it is possible to see sea lions, marine turtle, iguanas, manta rays, etc. This bay is connected by a superficial crack with crystalline water which is closed off during low tide. In this crack, it is possible to see the sharks from Blanca Point swimming with the rest of the tropical fish and sea lions (Snorkeling).
Day 4. – Cabo Rosa - Snorkel
We will take a boat to Cabo Rosa... 5 hours
We will take a boat to Cabo Rosa (45 minutes by boat), where the lava flowed into the ocean and formed beautiful lava tunnels. There you can see penguins, blue-footed boobies, and sea turtles. In this place, we can snorkel. You will have the opportunity to see sharks, sea turtles, sea lions, rays, seahorses, and many tropical fish. The rest of the day is free. You can enjoy the beautiful beach in Isabela or you can dive in the Concha de Perla Lagoon (snorkeling equipment at free time is not included, but can be hired locally).
Day 5. - Sierra Negra Volcano (hike)
The hike to the Sierra Negra Volcano and... 6 hours
The hike to the Sierra Negra Volcano and Volcano Chico is 16 km long (duration approx. 6 hours), but worth every effort. You see the second largest volcanic crater in the world and explore different vegetation zones. You get a lunch box for the hike. The rest of the day is at leisure.
Day 6. – Speed boat to Santa Cruz / Transfer to the airport in Baltra

transfer to the airportHome to the largest town in the Galapagos, Puerto Ayora, the Island has a large variety of vegetation. Pit craters, Scalesia Forest, cacti and ferns are found in its vegetation zones. The island is comprised of a younger part formed by volcanic cones and lava and an older narrow strip of land formed by uplifted lava flows and tuffs.
