After an early breakfast, we depart for Tarangire National Park, named after the Tarangire River, the region’s lifeline during the dry season. Known for its dense vegetation and large elephant herds, the park is also home to giraffes, bushbucks, hartebeests, lions, leopards, and over 500 bird species. After a packed lunch, we transfer to our lodge for dinner and overnight at Suricata Boma Lodge.

The earlier you descend to the crater floor, the higher your chances of spotting rare species like black rhinos. Spend the majority of the morning visiting the Ngorongoro Crater. With its 600-to 650-meter-high walls, it resembles a natural zoo and has the highest concentration of wild animals. Following your picnic lunch, most likely at the designated picnic place beside the hippo pool, you will drive up the crater rim and out of the conservation area.
