You can start the tour either from Lanzhou or Xining, our guide will pick you up from your hotel lobby in Xining or Lanzhou to the railway station to catch 2 or 3-hour bullet train heading to Zhangye. Upon arrival, you will be transferred to visit the Giant Buddha Temple in the city center. The 34.5-meter sleeping Buddha is well-preserved with colorful robe in the temple. Afterwards, you will be transferred to hotel in Zhangye.
Zhangye -- Danxia

After hotel breakfast, Afterwards you will drive one hour to visit Mati Temple that houses grottoes, buildings and fresco which still keep its original style since ancient time.
