Arrival in Victoria Falls

The guide will be waiting to transfer you from Victoria Falls Airport to your hotel. The drive will take about 20-30 minutes. You will be given time to freshen up before being picked up for the first activity, the Zambezi River sunset cruise. The cruise is a refreshing welcome activity that relaxes your mind as you appreciate the amazing scenery of the river. Wildlife sightings are common with hippos and crocodiles, and with mother luck on your side, you may see elephants swimming across the 4th longest river in Africa!

The day is spent appreciating and cherishing the beauty of Victoria Falls 8 hours
The day is spent appreciating and cherishing the beauty of Victoria Falls. Starting with a morning tour of the falls, you will go through all 16 points of the falls with the guide leading you and sharing some fascinating facts about one of the largest waterfalls in the world. After 2 hours inside the falls rainforest, you exit and transfer to the helipad for a 12-minutes helicopter flight above the falls. This tour will allow you to gain a full appreciation of Victoria Falls by capturing the views from the air. We then visit the Lookout Cafe for lunch. With the restaurant clinging over the gorge, the lookout gives an appreciation of mother nature as you enjoy incredible views of the Zambezi River flowing through the cracks of the Batoka Gorge. At 14h30 we leave Victoria Falls, going to the Hwange National Park. We expect to arrive at around 17h30. Depending on how tired you are, there is an option to do a game drive to spot nocturnal animals.

The day is all about a full safari in the Hwange National Park. We will start with an early-morning game drive around 05h00. This will afford you the opportunity to see more animals that are active at that time of the day. You will have a picnic breakfast in the bush before proceeding with a game drive for more wildlife sightings. You will have another stop in the bush for lunch before proceeding again on a drive, attempting to see as many animals as possible. During the drives, you can expect to see lions, elephants, Cape buffaloes, and a wild array of antelopes. You will return to the lodge at 15h30 for refreshing before we drive back to Victoria Falls. We expect to reach Victoria Falls at 18h30.
