Kigali city tour & Transfer to Volcanoes National Park
8 am pickup at your hotel in Kigali... 1 hour
8 am pickup at your hotel in Kigali and transfer to Volcanoes National park for an estimate drive of 2 – 2.5 hours After your breakfast, Afri safaris guide will pick you up from your hotel in Kigali by 8am, with private vehicle after a short briefing then you will start a city tour, the tour ends at 10.30 am. - Visit Kigali city center, car free zone and Kigali Genocide Memorial
After visiting Kigali Genocide memorial then you will... 13 hours
After visiting Kigali Genocide memorial then you will be transferred to Volcanoes National Park, with option for Midway stopover Mid-way: stop-over by SŌOKO Xperiences for leg stretching, using the washrooms, having some coffee, and exploring the difference art objects in their exhibition hall. After SŌOKO Xperiences you will then be transferred to your accommodation in Kinigi where you will freshen up, relax and lunch. Gorilla Trekking in Volcanoes National Park
Pick-up by 6:30 am after breakfast, then transfer to Park HQ for briefing 6 hours
Pick-up by 6:30 am after breakfast, then transfer to Park HQ for briefing. At 7:00 am, enjoy coffee and meet park officials at RDB Kinigi. You’ll be briefed, assigned a gorilla family based on fitness and age, and begin the trek at 8:00 am. The briefing covers gorilla behavior, what to expect, and what to carry. At 8:00 am, drive to the starting point where porters will assist if needed. Park rangers will guide your trek. Gorilla trekking runs from approx. 8:30 am–12:00 pm, taking 2–6 hrs. You’ll spend 1 hour with the gorillas—observe, photograph, and enjoy their behavior up close. Afterward, return to the starting point where your guide awaits. Then transfer to Migano in Musanze for lunch (1:20–2:00 pm). Afternoon transfer to Lake Kivu (Karongi) with scenic views. Check-in, relax, dinner, and overnight at Cormoran Lodge on Lake Kivu.
