After pick-up from the agreed location, we depart... 12 hours
After pick-up from the agreed location, we depart to Nyerere National Park (former Selous Game Reserve). It will take approximately 4 - 4.5 hours drive to arrive at final destination. Along the road, you are likely to see some urban and suburban areas with houses, shops, and other buildings. As you move further away from Dar es Salaam, the scenery will change, and you will start to see more natural surroundings such as trees, grasslands, and wildlife. Ideally arrive for lunch, relax a little bit and enjoy already a first afternoon game drive. Sundowner at the lodge followed by dinner. Optional stay at the fire place to talk with other guests about the day sightings.

After breakfast, departure for a morning game drive in the park. Option to organize picnic or go back to the lodge. With a picnic we will be able to move to more secluded areas and have a lunch in the bush. Afternoon game drive before going back to the lodge on time for the sundowner followed by dinner.
