Our 4-day group adventure tour is an affordable way to explore the Western Cape, Little Karoo, Whale Route, Addo Elephant National Park, and the Wine Route (Route 62). This tour starts in Cape Town every Monday, and ends back in Cape Town every Thursday. Join this road trip of a lifetime! Itinerary

Depart from Cape Town at 8am and travel along the R62 Wine Rout all the way to Knysna

The R62 Wine Route is stunning 5 hours

The R62 Wine Route is stunning. So many beautiful small towns (Robertson, Montague, Wellington, Oudtshoorn, etc..). So many beautiful vineyards. Stunning scenery.

This 13km long pass, through the beautiful mountains... 30 minutes

This 13km long pass, through the beautiful mountains is a stunning part of the route. The pass contains 40 bends,corners and curves, many of which exceed 90 degrees. A really stunning site.

We also go through Wilderness town, one of... 1 hour

We also go through Wilderness town, one of the really stunning towns on the garden with houses literally tucked away in the bush. A real wilderness.

Our final destination on day 1 is Knysna 15 hours

Our final destination on day 1 is Knysna. Knysna is the center of the garden route. This is where we spend the 3 nights as we explore the garden route area.

After breakfast we head off to Addo Elephant National Park for a day in the bush

After breakfast we head off to Addo Elephant National Park for a day in the bush with all the wildlife including Africa's Big 5. Addo Elephant National Park is the 3rd largest game reserve in South Africa. It has the largest elephant population. In Addo Elephant National Park we do a 4 to 5 hour game drive as we see all the wildlife here.

In Bloukrans Bridge there is the World's highest bungy jump at 216 metres 2 hours

In Bloukrans Bridge there is the World's highest bungy jump at 216 metres. There is also the option to do a skywalking. This place is very famous for these activities. From Bloukrans Bridge we head back to Knysna for the night.

On day 3 we head off to Robberg Nature Reserve, Plettenberg Bay Beaches, Knysna Heads & Quays Knysna Waterfront

Robberg Nature Reserve, probably the most beautiful of its kind, combining the sea, the mountain and beaches and valleys is a great place to do the hiking. We do a 2 hour hiking here.

Plettenberg Bay is one of the most beautiful... 2 hours

Plettenberg Bay is one of the most beautiful coastal towns, a mere 30km from Knysna. Here we visit local famous beaches with white sands and relax or visit restaurants within.

The Knysna Heads 2 hours

The Knysna Heads. Probably the best-known, most recognised river mouth in South Africa; maybe amongst the most iconic. Separated by around 300 metres of water, The Knysna Heads are the headlands of two peninsulas that enclose and form the Knysna River Estuary. We do a tour of the heads with stunning views all around, taking photos as well.

A trip to Garden Route is not complete... 2 hours

A trip to Garden Route is not complete without a visit to the famous Knysna Waterfront, arguably one of the most popular leisure and shopping destinations in the region, boasting a superior marina, a base for luxury yachts and Knysna's gateway for cruises and luxury charters voyaging into our pristine lagoon. We come here to relax.

On day4, our final day, we depart from Knysna, head off to Hermanus, Benguela Cove Wine Estate, Betty's Bay & Cape Town

We do a tour of this stunning town. Beautiful Hermanus is a South African seaside town that’s a popular whale-watching site. An initial visit to the Old Harbour Museum will acquaint you with the area’s rich fishing history and impress you with a massive exhibit of a whale skeleton. There are also dozens of area vineyards.

From Hermanus we head off to Benguela Cove... 2 hours

From Hermanus we head off to Benguela Cove Wine Estate for a world class wine tasting experience at one of the top wine producers in South africa. Benguela Cove Lagoon Wine Estate is a low yield farm, focused on producing premium estate wines. There is so much to see and do when you visit Benguela Cove

From Benguela Cove Wine Estate we proceed to... 1 hour

From Benguela Cove Wine Estate we proceed to Betty's Bay to see the endangered African Penguins in their natural habitat. A really great experience. From Betty's Bay we travel on the stunning Whale Route as we proceed to Cape Town to end the tour at around 6pm in late afternoon.
